The Shortlister community is a diverse group of people who solicit or search for construction work and related market costing information. Our users include architects, engineers, facility managers, general contractors, homeowners, tradesmen, handymen and individuals.

Solicitors can post their job, upload project information and drawings and handle correspondences through a simple interface. Bidders can search for jobs, download project information and drawings and can view bid clarifications in one central spot on the site for easier document management. Commercial and residential building owners alike can use the dynamic cost tracking database to get real world cost information for a variety of project and material types. Shortlister has become a valuable new tool for its users.

The Shortlist Process

Shortlister’s open marketplace facilitates the entire bidding process including matching solicitors with high-quality bidders, providing a comprehensive job costing database and offering dynamic account manager functionality.

Shortlister's no-fee project solicitation means anyone with a project can post a job at any time and as often as they like. Bidders can search and review posted projects in order to enhance their businesses and discover new employment opportunities. Shortlister's dynamic marketplace accurately tracks project postings and notifies a solicitor when projects are being reviewed, and when appropriate notifies bidders about new job opportunities in their trade and area.

Shortlister members use the site to communicate project correspondences and manage bid documents. Members submitting private, secure bid data through the site generate a custom “Shortlist” for the solicitor to review at their discretion.
